Prom

Last night was Junior-Senior Prom. Cody wore his favorite color of orange. There are not too many days until his high school years will be over.

Card at Archivers

I went to Archivers in Memphis on Friday. They were making cards so while I was there I made this one. Isn't it cute. It was easy. A stacked daisy punch to make the flower. Button for the middle. Punch a hole right under the daisy and above the sentiment. Start ribbon from back and tie and trim. Sentiment was heat embossed. I had fun.

I did another save the date card and also worked on a layout for Huntingdon Man. There is also a layout I did using paper dolls with my cricut from last year of Cody with his fro. Huntingdon Man is one of Cody's best friends who will be his room mate at UT in the fall.

I have been trying to come up with ideas for my daughter's wedding and was trying to do some save the date cards. I also did a Thank you note in the same colors. I will have to get her opinion though about the cards.

Its been awhile

I was in charge of Great Pretenders a fund raiser for Project Graduation. Project Graduation was started as a way of keeping graduating seniors in and safe on graduation night. Anyway GP is a big deal in Huntingdon. I am attaching pictures of my son and his friend Ryne doing Sonny and Cher and also my son and friends doing N'Sync. My daughter taught the boys the dance while she was home at Christmas. They did a really great job.

Denver/Rocky Mountains

Due to work my supervisior and I had to make a trip to Denver last weekend. It was the first time I had ever been and I must say that it was a beautiful trip. We drove up to Breckinridge on Sunday. When we left Tennessee it was about 7 degrees outside and when we arrived to Denver it was 60.

Last week I had the stomach virus and then my hubby got it so we weren't too productive durning the New Years. Hopefully I will get back on track and this year do more with the blog. Pictures are Cody and Emily New Year's Eve and Cody, Kristin and Kyle at my moms on Christmas Day.
